Long Day Care in Bracken Ridge
Apollo Villages Bracken Ridge sits within the Bracken Ridge neighbourhood. We are an easy walk from TAFE Queensland, Norris Road State School and the nearby Barrett Street Park.
If you’d prefer a shorter journey, the Brisbane City Council Bracken Ridge Library is just a six-minute bus ride away, with a stop right outside our doors. In the opposite direction, Bracken Ridge Plaza makes every day errands easy.
Access to this long daycare centre is via Norris Road, whether arriving by car or on foot.
Where children once roamed farmland and bush, a thriving community sprouted in Bracken Ridge. Today, nearby green and historic spaces offer opportunities for outdoor exploration and local excursions.
That joy of being outside still inspires us, as we create spaces for children to find happiness through unstructured play, physical activity and connection with nature.
We thoughtfully designed our two-level childcare centre to blend with the neighbourhood. It provides a generous, secure and private outdoor area with sandpits, water play, trees and gardens. We bring the light and joy from being outdoors into our centre and rooms.
Child-led learning is at the heart of our program, aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework. From the nursery to Kindy, we support the individual needs of children and encourage strong family partnerships.
Family life works better with flexible care. Our long day care offers extended hours for children to attend full-time, part-time or casually, depending on availability and your needs. We are the village you can rely on.
Our dedicated and tertiary-qualified educators nurture children with personalised care alongside an individualised learning program. They actively engage with children to deepen and extend experiences.
Children enjoy a generous and welcoming environment where various types of play, including play-based learning, physical play, and creative play, utilise natural materials and open-ended resources.
Indoor and outdoor learning flow naturally, with children moving between spaces as curiosity leads them. Gentle routines and familiar rituals anchor the day, helping transitions feel calm, predictable and part of everyday life.
Children are free to choose how they play on their own or alongside friends. They follow interests that feel meaningful to them. Green spaces invite investigation, with smaller, defined areas for calmer interactions, such as building with blocks or storytime.
Play and learning come together in the garden. It’s where children discover how plants grow and where food comes from. They might explore bush tucker, learn about native bees, or pick fresh vegetables with our chef for garden-to-plate experiences.
Learning goes beyond the basics. Children follow their curiosity, exploring age-appropriate experiences that spark a love of discovery. They explore textures, sounds, and movement as they pedal tricycles, follow stepping stones, make mud smoothies, or build a cardboard spaceship.

Our fees cover all essentials, including nappies, wipes, wet bags, sunscreen, hats, and nutritious meals and snacks made on-site by our talented chef. They also include extra-curricular incursions and excursions into the wider community.

After a long day of work or study, when all you want is to get home and put your feet up, we’ve got you covered. We offer ready-to-heat, nutritious meals, so dinnertime is easy and wholesome.
